The end of war in Sri Lanka: Reflections and challenges

A year after the war ended in Sri Lanka, Groundviews invited several well-known contributors to contest and complement the understanding that peace is more than just the absence of war, or the defeat of the LTTE. The response was staggering. This is a collection of content exclusively published on the site over the course of one week in May 2010 - close to eighty-thousand words from over forty different authors. No comparable collection of video, photography, incisive prose, poetry and critical analysis was published or broadcast in any other mainstream media in the country.
