Jon Summersby has basically been the nerd of the family and thought he'd never find love. In college all that changed when Courtney sat next to him in biology. She had been his everything and then one day without warning she walked away.

After losing Courtney, Jon is sure he'd never find love again, until he catches the eye of a mysterious Lieutenant Uhura at a Star Trek Convention. They enjoy a blissful night together and then the next morning she is gone.

After many years of living in her mother's shadows and coming close to dying, she was sure she'd never find love, until she catches the eye of a sexy Captain Kirk. One night in his arms and she can't stop thinking about him.
