The Floodworker's Conferment

An artistic and economic response to the floods that devastated eastern Iowa in June, 2008, the artist Hanpo delivers a series of stunning paintings as a gift to get the region back on its feet. This book honors any one who suffered from the flood or who helped beat back the flood waters. Each book contains two paper ornaments which floodworkers can hang to commemmorate their champion involvement.
