APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Rachel, Imogen and Sasha are all struggling to emerge from the shadows of their past. Their mother Margo has forged ahead, driven by necessity and desire, but she is equally haunted by her complicated, painful history. Their very name freighted with significance, each Garnett girl shoulders their own burden, each a compelling individual yet all woven skilfully into a larger, more complex tapestry. There’s an intriguing mystery at the heart of this wounded family, but what’s most satisfying here are the dynamics between the women. The love they have for each other is palpable through frustrations, resentments, and fiery confrontations. Delightfully readable yet layered with emotion, this is a novel that will keep your sympathies shifting and your curiosity alive to the very end.
