Publisher Description

Grayson was a keen subscriber to the on line ghost hunters magazine 'Phenomena'

The editor of the magazine, theatrically named Tom Spectre, stated categorically that the derelict Inn,'The Gibbet', was "an indisputably haunted and evil place."

Tom Spectre was known to Grayson from school days. It was a silly chat room dispute and his temporary suspension from the Phenomena web site which had identified the editor and Grayson's school day nemesis, Alfred Blanchard, as being one and the same person.

Grayson saw the Gibbet as an opportunity to disprove a haunting, but the icing on the cake was the opportunity to put egg on the face of the erstwhile school bully.
