Publisher Description
This book is a really nicely written, fun and entertaining novel, written at the turn of the century, about adventure and the pursuit of a mysterious and amazing woman who has the protagonist''s undying devotion throughout. It contains a few chapters that are somewhat reminiscent of Robinson Crusoe and similarly, given the era it was written in, may tend at times to be offensive in language and allusions to the black natives it depicts. If this hurdle can be overcome, or overlooked, it offers an interesting and relatively fast-paced, at times humorous, well-written adventure/romance story with good twists and turns and a satisfactory ending.
