The Privilege of a Lifetime

Growing up in relative isolation in the 40s, the author had the privilege of creating a lifetime of learning how to be true to her self. Her challenges, her struggles and her eventual triumph over the roadblocks presented to her over the years, are presented as lessons to be learned. With great courage and honesty, she explores the hand she was dealt and the resulting effects it had on her. Character traits such as shyness, timidity, people pleasing, and lack of self-confidence fall to the wayside as growth producing challenges are met, wrestled with, and overcome.
