I never thought I’d see her again.
We shared one hot night together back in college before our paths took us in different directions.
But now, the most brilliant and beautiful woman I’ve ever met is back in my life. And the chemistry I remember? It’s more combustible than ever.
Except… our fling is forbidden and must exist only in secret. Her rules, not mine.
I can’t be her forever. I’m not that guy, and even she knows it.

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Who knew hockey could be so damn sexy? Romance superstar Kendall Ryan kicks off her steamy Looking to Score series by introducing us to Eden Wynn, the new owner of a beloved Boston hockey franchise. Eden’s whip smart, but the team—including its new star player, Alex Braun, Eden’s handsome (and incredibly ripped) ex-boyfriend—doesn’t have much faith in her. And don’t even get us started on the fans, whose misogynistic online abuse gets so bad that the team has to hire a new security team to protect her. That security squad is headed by the tall, brooding Holt Rossi, whom Eden spent a memorable night with back in college. Yeah, you know what’s coming, but boy, does Ryan deliver on both the romance and drama fronts. The Rebel is a reminder that sometimes your dream guy may be hiding in plain sight.
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Ryan (Playing for Keeps) launches her Looking to Score series with a steamy story full of delicious detail that's light on angst. Eden Wynn is a wealthy girl from the right side of town, and though Holt Rossi has harbored a crush on her for years, he's never felt worthy of her. When their one college hookup ends with Eden leaving him a note that reads, "This was a mistake," Holt's worst fears are confirmed. Years later, Eden inherits her grandfather's hockey team and must publicly cope with the fact that her ex, Alex Braun, is one of her players. Just when things couldn't get more stressful, her team hires Holt as her new security detail. The last thing Eden needs is a relationship tied to her work, but Holt still has feelings for the girl that got away, and soon enough Eden realizes that she made a mistake all those years ago. Ryan keeps the focus on the feelings rather than action, and the result is a soothing escape that more than makes up for its lack of twists and turns with endearing characters, sizzling sex scenes, and an emotion-driven plot. This is the literary equivalent of comfort food. (Self-published)

Rebel
The idea of the story was interesting but the execution is lacking. Between the mountain of insecurity of Eden and the restrain of Hoth it make the story boring.
