The Scarred Pepper Tree

What happens if you’re not perfect? When the Tree was small, a windstorm almost ended her life. Although rescued, she was badly scarred, marking her for removal. When 10year old Dolores was small, she was left in a foreign orphanage. Even after her father found her, he abandoned her with her grandparents, who are too old to take care of her. Scar and Lolo live precariously in a Canyon Garden, inhabited by magical creatures: some friend, some foe. When an ill fated event threatens Lolo’s BFFs life, everyone must pull together, or lose Scar and Lolo forever.
