A badly written romance with a flimsy plot
I hate giving this a bad review but honestly instead of a crime novel which is what the author is so capable of doing brilliantly it was just another installment of the main female character being fixated by and making bad decisions and losing focus on her job because of a main who pretends he doesn’t want her. The main plots were very obvious and clear from the start at least to me anyway. The actual crime being solved was reduced to a sub plot that the characters had little interest in
