The Simple Time

The Simple Time reflects the relationship between two families, the Johns, sharecroppers knowing no other means, and the land owners, the Hankins, working the soil to make ends meet. This story is cast in the late 1950's, a simpler time, after the conclusion of the Korean conflict, but juxtaposed to the inevitable changes inherent in the 60's. The Simple Time is about our history, the common values we shared and our growth as a nation.
