A non-typical vampire story involving a group of people removed from mainstream society in their own community. Without exotic or stereotypical looks and actions, none-the-less, some attributes are part of their lives. An outsider becomes intertwined in the lives of several and their pursuit resulting in their own survival along with another, never imagined in the mind of the outsider. Then again, it was never anticipated in the lives of those in the community. Lives are changed, and there are costs. Who is willing to pay?
