About the author
Lauren Weisberger is the author of The Devil Wears Prada, which spent more than a year on the New York Times hardcover and paperback bestseller lists, and became an iconic film starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. When we first met Emily Charlton (played by Emily Blunt in the film adaptation), she was the venomous assistant to Miranda Priestly with “a job a million girls would die for”. Years later she has another role many would covet, but Runway magazine is a mere CV footnote. We rejoin our anti-heroine in the glamorous suburbs of New York City, where she's an overachieving image consultant with a swoon-worthy husband and an impeccable reputation to uphold.
