Traveller and Wish-Queen

In a contemporary London not quite our own, the Guild of Travellers has a suicide mission for their rebellious archivist and reluctant mage Tom Grey. In a Port-world not at all ours, the wish-queen Liliana – only the uninformed call her a genie – receives the same mission as her final task before resigning. Together, Tom and Lily move through a magical London and then journey to the Port of Hward, a desert-world of swords, swing music, and lost serpent-gods, to steal the Lord Citizen’s amulet – and to find out what love and partnership can be.
