Dans le but de favoriser l’apprentissage de la langue française par les enfants de tous horizons et de toutes cultures Marie a choisi de publier ce conte en versions bilingues : français – espagnol, français – créole et français – anglais.



Pour Marie, il est capital de tisser des liens entre les générations et entre les cultures; c’est pourquoi elle a demandé à des jeunes du Québec et du Mexique d’illustrer ce livre.



Dans ce conte Marie Villeneuve nous transporte dans la savane africaine, au pied d’un vieux baobab qui raconte l’histoire du caméléon philosophe Ahmadou et de ses amis.

In order to encourage the learning of French by children of all horizons and all cultures, Marie has chosen to publish bilingual versions of this story in French-Spanish, French-Creole and French-English.



To Marie, it is essential to create links between generations and between cultures; that is the reason why Marie asked children from Québec and Mexico to illustrate the book.



In this story, Marie Villeneuve takes the readers to the African savannah, at the foot of an old baobab that tells the story of Ahmadou, the philosophical chameleon and his friends.
