She faces devastating loss early in her life and has to find a way to cope. She travels alone through war-torn Europe and crosses many geographical borders, searching for a place to belong. She faces challenges that seem insurmountable, yet she is not overwhelmed. She finds friends in the most unlikely places to help her get through some very difficult times. As she builds inner strength, she is able to fulfil her dreams.
This book is inspired by a true story. While her journey is true, the inner life of Margot is fictional.
