Whodunit‪?‬

A novice detective gathers momentum, having adventures, doing who knows what with all of the girls, thumbing his nose at the authorities and court system, solves mysteries faster than the author could keep up with, and practically takes over the detective agency. In the end he almost takes over the book, too.
