Little men
I read this book and its 3 other companion books, namely, Little Women, Good Wives, and Jo' s Boys - a long time ago and was much moved by it. And I read them sometimes as a wife and mother ,too. Now as I am older, I still get charmed by the sincerity inherent in not only the telling of the tale, but in its very inception . I'm again moved to shed a tear, to feel happy about the values imbued in the book, and trust that the goodwill present in it is alive even today. As we celebrate All Saints Day and Halloween today, may the message in this book be relevant to all and may we all strive to make the lives of others better.
