Publisher Description
An Apple Books Classic edition.
Jane Austen’s first published novel is a sparkling, heartfelt tale of family, friendship, and changes of the heart.
Elinor Dashwood is the voice of reason. Her sister, Marianne, is impulsive and emotionally reactive. When their family loses its fortune, they have to trade a grand estate for a quiet cottage and step into an unpredictable new world of love, gossip, and heartbreak.
One guards her heart, the other dives in feelings-first. As secrets surface and affections are tested, both discover that reason and passion together might be the perfect combination. Sharp, funny, and romantic, Sense and Sensibility captures Austen’s keen eye for love in all its messy forms.

Sense and Sensibility
A master piece book. I was wanting to read it for quite some time. The prose of the book has so much to offer, in conveying the thoughts and emotions of all characters. The characters have developed so eloquently from the start. One loves the the flow and the language, which is so beautifully portrayed in the story.
The book title is fully justified. A very pleasurable read.
