The Turn of the Screw

Constructed flawlessly as a horror story you get from this piece all you would expect in a basic horror i.e. you must not expect more. Of course what you read in books do not have the effect upto what we see in movies..this book won’t disappoint you in the expectation of a ‘short and simple horror story’, neither does it take your time in any kind of preachings...it is no blood curdling piece but the basis for all writers of horror. It contains only the basics that every horror must have, so that you can judge other books by comparing them to this— if the others don’t contain this much clarity of expression and at least this much level of supernatural then they’re not good books but on the other hand starting from the level of this book every horror is good, above the level of this book any book will be very good. And if some people think that it has been finished in a haste, well, then they must understand that it’s not.. this piece is what it is ‘short story with good flow’; nothing abrupt. Now two things in against this books, firstly, the first few chapters have too much punctuations or comments therefore there it is difficult to follow the plot...but don’t worry as after these few chapters, the flow is recovered and continues to the end. Secondly, the description observed by the publisher in the apple book store —a governess in love with her employer— is not completely true when you read the book..it is no romance..not the slightest tint of it. Myself being a experienced reader I recommend it.
