Sometimes the dead will not stay dead.

It’s Halloween, and a killer long thought dead has suddenly reappeared, setting both the Dublin criminal underworld and the Gardaí on edge. Smiling Johnny Gildea – the textbook definition of a charming monster – is back and intent on settling old scores, chief amongst them the death of his baby brother.

Bunny McGarry has to find him, and fast, before Gildea takes out the person he holds responsible: Bunny’s partner and best friend, Pamela Cassidy.

With all that’s happening, the last thing Bunny needs is having to deal with a certain young fella of his acquaintance whose bonfire has been nicked.
