University of California Los Angeles

Descrizione dell’editore

Los Angeles - The NSF Clean Green IGERT (CGI) fellows at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) published a series of Clean Tech Reviews for 2013. The book contains general interest reviews on clean energy technologies including micro-wind, solar thermal and high efficiency multi-junction solar cells.

The Multi-Touch book features interactive content, images and videos designed to provide an introduction to Ph.D. research, news and analysis on clean energy technologies at UCLA. The book also contains demos from the EnGen Roadshow -- a series of clean energy workshops designed for high school students in Los Angeles; a clean tech scorecard, and commentaries on policy and global investing.

"Given the heightened interest in clean tech on campus and elsewhere, we wanted to provide reviews that were accessible to general audiences while maintaining scientific and technical rigor useful for technologists, the business community and the public," said Omar Asensio, an NSF IGERT fellow at UCLA, who edited the work.
