Descrizione dell’editore
Angel Perez had a second chance at a new beginning. After the death of her Aunt Rosie, Angel followed the instructions of her aunt and packed up only a few of her belongings and headed to Florida. After moving into her Aunt Rosie’s small cottage on Siesta Key Beach, she was quickly adjusting to her new life.
After finding a job at an insurance company, Angel became friends with the two owners, Sara Roberts and Brea Kinsley. Sara and Brea made it their mission to fix Angel up on a blind date with their very handsome and single friend Mason Myles.
Afraid that her past would catch up with her, Angel lived a very private life. When she met the tall, dark, and handsome Dr. Mason Myles, she knew she wouldn’t be able to resist him. He swept her off her feet with his sexy, dimpled smile and charm.
Living on the run from a very abusive boyfriend, Jim Davis, Angel lived in fear that Jim would somehow find her. After she revealed her abusive past and fears to Mason, Mason vowed to protect her.

Not what I expected…
The plot is ok, even if it isn’t the first time I read a novel about a domestic violence surviver. Here is a list of things that bothered me: 1- when describing her home, or Mason’s home…. the author wrote there pages, yes three pages, just to describe her house. I don’t know about other people, but that is something I hate so much in books, the overdescribing of things, gets on my nerves and makes me want to skip to the better parts and then I miss little tidbits doing that and…well I lose interest. 2 - SPOILER ,When she meets Mason at the pub she is overconfident. Knowing and being one abusive relationship survivor myself I can tell you that no one comes out of that kind of relationship with her confidence intact. So it irritated me a little when Angel was flirting and very accepting of Mason when being beaten into a come would, in reality, give someone panic attacks, loss of faith in men, insecurities, etc… 3- I appreciate the fact that this book was free and all, and I understand that you want to capture my attantion with the first book so that I’ll buy the second, but sadly it didn’t work and here is why; the plot is good, but it takes to long to get to the good stuff so after I’ve read the entire thing I feel as if I’ve read in three days what I could have read in half a day…. so why would I want to put myself through that again? so here is some advice, I do like the author’s fantasy and plot and names and all, but if you work on the way to describe scenes, on being more realistic with trauma etc… and on not dragging the whole thing out to much. I believe you could be a very good writer. Do I believe in this author? If she makes some little changes in her writing here and there, then YES. If not…then sadly , no. Please don’t hate me for my comment, but learn from it (if you ever read it.) . You have potential, but we’re not there yet. cheers!
