Abaddon - The Angel of the Abyss

Abaddon does not begin as a demon. He begins as a word for ruin. This book follows that word — the Hebrew abad, to perish, to be lost, to be destroyed — from the language of Job, Proverbs, and Psalms to the angel of the abyss crowned in Revelation 9, also named Apollyon: the Destroyer.
It examines the fifth trumpet, the locusts of the abyss, and Abaddon's uneasy relation to Satan, the Watchers, Belial, Samael, and Azazel, resisting the shortcut of treating him as an ordinary demon or a simple fallen angel.
Interpretive rather than encyclopedic, the book reads destruction as a function worth understanding on its own terms — grief, collapse, impermanence, and the dismantling that spiritual life sometimes requires. It is written for readers of biblical demonology, apocalyptic symbolism, and esoteric tradition who want depth over easy consolation.
