The Doors of the Ancients have been found, and Jake's life will never be the same again.

Before Jake can settle into a promising new life, another one of his friends is taken through a portal by creatures from one of the other worlds, and Jake is left with no hope... until contact is made. But now Shadow Creek is saturated with enemies coming at Jake from all sides, each trying to find out his closely-guarded secret.
With only the slightest shred of hope, Jake relies on his newfound friends to help him on an insane quest to rescue the abducted. And as impossible as he imagines the quest might be, even with his newly-acquired powers, he has no idea of the extent of danger he is up against when he goes searching through hostile worlds.
