All Protests End

This is crime-mystery novel. The main protagonist is a sheriff in a small town that is becoming a center for organized criminals. He has to deal with the crimes involving the people in town and on a nearby reservation. It starts with three murders of activists at a logging protest-blockade. As it evolve, there are national and international crimes interspersed with the local problems.
