America at a Crossroads

This work is a thought provoking and at times satirical insight into the world’s current events, and America’s place in the world.

The book begins by asking, who truly rules the people? This is followed by an overview of a few government types, including Anarchy, Communism, Democracy, Dictatorships, and Islamic Republics. A brief foray into history, leads to the question of whether we are currently experiencing a nearly invisible world war, which I believe we are a world at war!
The issues of East versus West, as well as Christianity versus Islam are touched on, to provide further context for the section discussing, ‘What is America?’

The work finishes with a satirical, yet at times serious, overview called, ‘If I were King for a day. I want people to debate this section, to discuss and share their own views, and to truly start thinking about the world we live in, and not to simply accept things being ‘the way they are’.

The rich and powerful rule America! At any point in time they could make radical changes to the nation’s founding laws, with the President himself seemingly showing little respect for the constitution.
