Abstract The purpose of this article is to provide psychotherapists with information about effective intervention strategies for children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). This article provides psychotherapists with information that will facilitate accurate assessment strategies, general interventions, and methods for determining their effectiveness. Collaboration across all disciplines and with parents is emphasized.
