Bermuda part one

The story is set in the two time lines of 2010 and 2080. The story opens in 2080 with the appearance of a mysterious and inquisitive species surveying the earth from orbit. Upon deciding that first contact with human kind would be beneficial to both species they attempt to land. Their decision is met with an unforeseen reaction from humankind, which spells disaster for the continent of North America in the following weeks.

The story then temporarily moves to 2010. Christian Stone is returning home after sustaining an injury from his tour of duty in the army. The decisions he has made in his life are made clear and the tension between his wife after a costly mistake are evident. A week after his return his wife and two daughters disappear on a cruise liner on which they are travelling. Desperate to find them and set his life right he ventures out to the last known location of the cruise liner, The Bermuda Triangle.
