Selena Thomas has spent eighteen years believing she's insane all because she told the truth about what happened in Alexandria's basement. When she was ten, a demon masquerading as a little boy brutally murdered her. The problem is she didn't stay dead.

Demons aren't real, of course. They're all in her head, a product of a child's overabundant imagination. At least, that's what everyone wants her to think.

After eight years of in-patient treatment and another decade of social isolation, she's finally ready to believe them. That is until her parents take a trip out of state, leaving her alone for the first time since her childhood.

Suddenly, her home doesn't feel so safe. Her reflection doesn't look the same. There's a beast stalking her every move and the shadows are alive. Horrifying whispers haunt her dreams.

Her psychiatrist thinks the problem is her meds. Her instincts scream she's in danger. But what's the truth? With nowhere to turn, Selena must re-examine her past and fight to distinguish reality from fantasy.

Is it really in her head or are there monsters after her soul?
