A cold front, a nasty storm, and a studio apartment...

I've had a crush on my coworker, Laia, from the moment I laid my eyes on her.

She's outspoken, bold, and has a fire in her soul that draws me in like a moth to the light.

We're polar opposites. I'm so shy, I can barely manage a few words in her presence.

The idea of her returning my feelings is absolutely laughable.

But then, we get a nasty storm, and to top it off, it's cold outside.

Usually, I'd have to walk to my dorm building, but Laia proposes an idea...

"You okay with coming home with me?"

Those seven words flip my entire world upside down.
