INTRODUCTION Aluminum (Al), the most abundant metal, comprising about 8% of the earth's crust, is found in combination with oxygen, silicon, fluorine and other elements in soil, rocks, clays and gems [1]. It has no known biological function [2]. Presently, Aluminum utensils are widely used in the world, especially in the developing countries [3]. This may increase the Aluminum content, particularly in the food that are salty, acidic or alkaline[4].
