Ceaseless Waves

Sri Lanka was in a crisis that involved the government and the separatist in the north fighting for their freedom. Ceaseless Waves is a fiction set in the 1983 to 2004 political time and historical moment.
Mallika and her family survived the 1995 massive human exodus, unparalleled in the history of Sir Lanka, often compared to the human exodus of the Jews from Germany. She returns to her homeland, the north of Sri Lanka, after nine years as a medical doctor to work for her people and hopes to find her childhood and teenage lover. Though she has not heard or obtained any information since she fled the Island, she is determined to find her love, in a country where thousands were killed, went missing or fled to neighboring countries due to the civil war. Does she find him? Is he still waiting for her?
