Charlotte's Gamble

Oliver was kissing his wife when a gasp distracted him. When discovered the source, and saw her best friend, Charlotte staring as if she didn't believe her eyes, he was thrilled. She'd come to see him off. By the time they'd established he was married and he introduced his wife, his minister friend, Peter joined them. Peter and Charlotte seemed to hit it all, and that was great. If She went with them to Oregon, he'd have all he wanted. Maybe Peter would marry Charlotte, and they'd be set to get those churches planted. He even told Peter how perfect Charlotte would be for him.
