H. Rider Haggard was an English novelist and Victorian writer of adventure novels, set in exotic African locations. He initiated many of the now common themes of lost civilization and lost continent, including the ancient magic and curses, secret chambers and mysticism. 


‘Child of Storm’ is one of the novels, that H. Rider Haggard had written, depicting the adventures of Allan Quatermain, great English hunter in the wilds of mysterious Africa. The action is set in 1854-56 and concerns Quatermain hunting in Zululand and getting involved with a beautiful African girl, named Child of Storm, who causes great collapse in the Zulu kingdom.
