Children of the Crystal Blood

Amberlaine, a young misfit, is returned to a land where the Gift is a part of everyday life. Under threat from the legacy of a Prophesy made long before her birth, she must remember what it means to be one of the Children of the Crystal Blood Clan. Within her is the reincarnated spirit of her ill-fated ancestor, Celeste Stanchion. Amberlaine must fight to rewrite history and put right the wrongs committed by the Old Gods. Inside of her is the power to destroy the New Faith and return Balance not just to her clan, but to all of the Gifted Realm. In order to do so, she must defeat an enemy she barely understands and hold on to what remains of her humanity. When a God declares his love for her, Amberlaine has to wonder if this is a blessing, or a curse. Is the price of blood and death which follows her one which she is willing to pay for the future which her visions promise? Is she the Voice of the Gods, or can she be more than a pawn?
