The toxic cloud layer has been removed and the inhabitants of the Underlands now enjoy the light of the sun. However, the threat of invasion hangs over them even as Ka’star and Ailyean work to reunite the peoples that have been separated for centuries. An imposter claims he is the Reunitor and causes division that puts Reunification on hold and jeopardizes the peace and welfare of the Land. Meanwhile, information comes to light that could be dangerous in the wrong hands. Through it all, Ka’star and Ailyean face their feelings for each other and wonder what awaits them once their destiny is fulfilled.
