Cutter Grogan wanted a vacation. Colombo had other plans.

Cutter wants to put his feet up, sip drinks and watch the world go by in Colombo.

Then an American tourist dies.

Local police rule it a natural medical death. The family back home doesn’t suspect anything but  want a private investigator they trust to confirm the details.

They find Cutter.

He agrees. It should take a day.

Instead, he finds  people who don’t want questions asked.

The kind of people who'll shoot first and ask questions later.

What begins as a  favor turns into a moving target.

He has to keep moving to stay alive. 

He didn’t come to Sri Lanka looking for work.

But once he starts asking questions, there’s no walking away.
