Colonial Interiors

Colonial Interiors: Southern Colonial and Early Federal, by Edith Tunis Sale is the full title of the book this zine is based on. It was the title that caught my eye. In my head, I said to myself: "Coping with our Colonial Interiors" The two words felt prescient.

Leanne Shapton is an author, artist and publisher based in New York City. She is the co-founder, with photographer Jason Fulford, of J&L Books. Shapton is a fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society. She grew up in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
