This United States Coast Guard Commandant Instruction manual, COMDTINST M5100.47D Coast Guard Safety and Environmental Health Manual Change 1 February 2022, includes extensive changes to Chapters 3, 20, 21, and 28 from the previous version. This Manual sets forth the key elements of the Coast Guard’s Safety and Environmental Health (SEH) Program, assigning responsibilities for the implementation of those program elements and specifying the SEH standards that are to be applied within the Coast Guard.
