Counting the Dead

Counting the Dead is the story of the ongoing struggle to protect the wilds of northeastern Mozambique. It recounts the devastating effects of elephant poaching and illegal logging on the Quirimbas National Park. 


The book should be viewed as a new type of journalistic product: part photo essay, part documentary film, part park guide, and part long-form story.
