Cow Puncher #2

Featuring stories of the Fighting Parson, Alabam and other unique gunslingers, Avon Comics’ Cow Puncher series is a collection-based comic with varying segments in each issue. Published from 1947 to 1949, the comic ran for seven issues and introduced comic characters like Clint Conrad, Pioneer Queen and Kit West. The second issue in the series is the first to feature the Fighting Parson, a character that Avon adopted from a popular 1930 western film. Telling the story of a moral crusader known as the Fighting Parson, the comic follows the religious vigilante who brings outlaws to justice.
