Create Scenery and Props with SketchUp® is an Interactive Book Portal to access video tutorials, images, text, and supporting information controlled by the reader/viewer. The text and images provide a context overview of each video lesson. The video streamed to the book is a comprehensive collection of step-by-step tutorials going through the process of designing a set in SketchUp® and rendering it with the V-Ray Plugin. The traditional method of set design started with a perspective sketch, and the orthographic projection, which includes  plan, section and elevation views, that are followed by followed by a hand crafted white paper model and finished color model. Creating Scenery and Props with SketchUp by means of its interactive digital format moves forward from tradition: not only in how we read a book, but also how we draw. An Internet connection is required to access the video clips and experience the interactive content.
