This is Chapter 1:  Physical Environments of the third book and module in the 3-credit course Infant and Toddler Education and Care explores the impact of learning activities, schedule, and physical environment on relationship-based practice. Using the Massachusetts early learning guidelines for infants and toddlers to evaluate developmentally appropriate curricula for infants and toddlers, students design developmentally appropriate environments. Assumes that learner has knowledge of the basics of early childhood education, child development, developmentally appropriate practice, and young children with special needs.
