Nei corsi di fotografia naturalistica che tengo (sono un divulgatore e fotoreporter di professione) ogni qualvolta mi vengano chiesti quali manuali di riconoscimento delle specie io consigli, la mia risposta è sempre la stessa: "QUELLI DELLA DK PUBLISHING". Ora comprenderete il mio stupore e la mia estrema gioa nell'accogliere questo primo volume per IPAD (segue anche quello sugli INSETTI). Curato nei minimi dettagli e soprattutto, con immagini reali e non disegni, che seppur splendidi, possono trarre in inganno al cospetto di specie consimili. Potrete obiettare che non sono in lingua italiana, ma se frequentaste il mondo della divulgazione naturalistica, come io faccio da oltre 30 anni, comprendereste che l'Italia da questo punto di vista è il più nordico dei paesi arabi, ovvero siamo retrogradi. Fondamentalmente questo volume, e la collanadi cui fa parte (e che spero si ampli in futuro) serve per la classificazione e il riconoscimento delle singole specie, per cui, il dato essenziale è l'immagine correlata al nome latino (uguale per tutti i paesi del mondo). Per cui se volete conoscere i CARNIVORI del mondo, non esitate un istante, non pèotreste trovare metodo migliore per spendere questi pochi euro al cospetto di un'opera di ASSOLUTA qualità.
