Earthbound: Assembly of the Fallen

The antagonist, the angel Azazel, convinces the angelic order known as the Grigori, to deceive the Creator, to take mortal wives and rule over early mankind. When their plot is discovered the rebelous leader, Azazel, is chained to the Tree of Resurrection at the outskirts of Hell. The remaining Grigori are cast from their divine bodies to take lives as tormented men. Life after life of the angels live without memory of their origins.

In early chapters of the Assembly of the Fallen the story develops in modern day. A social outcast name Victor Valetine struggles to find his place amongst his high school peers. Little does he know a dark force surrounds him, trying to bend the will of the adolescent. As the tentacles of Hell try to control Victor, the young men's true destiny begins to unravel. A revelation exposes his true identity. The former champion of Heaven, the angel Penemue, must except his fate and rise to defeat his twisted brothers.

But is Victor Valentine/ Penemue too late to stop the Order of the Grigori as they awaken to discover their past?
