Elleander Morning

Elleander Morning is an alternative history in which World War II never happened. In the book's opening pages, Adolf Hitler is sitting in a café in Vienna in 1913 when he is assassinated by an American woman, Elleander Morning. The novel won several awards, including the 1986 Ditmar Award for best international fiction and the Science Fiction Club Deutschland's Kurd-Laßwitz-Preis.
