Asel is a twin, and she clung to that after the Elite took her. She made it her focus to keep them from knowing about her sister. When they finished toying with Asel, they threw her into a pit and drained her power for years. Her energy made the Elite's magic.

When the ladies arrived to free the Stronghold, she escaped after they had gone, on her own, and with the others in her oubliette. They went two years back in time, returned to the family farm, and began their recovery. Emotional support chickens to the rescue.

With her twin, Honey, she jaunts off to do some work in the islands, and when she returns home, her job as a hotel clerk is thrown into disarray by her sister leading Asel's mates to her, and so, Asel returns the favour with Honey.

Finding balance with their partners is tricky, but with a little effort and a lot of patient courtship, they find their way. The wilding and the princess have met their matches.
