Kip is a conman, looking for a place to hide out for a while. Sisters-in-law Jo and Mo Waite are seeking a front man for their detective agency, since nobody seems excited about hiring two sixty-plus women to hunt down criminals.

Kip's plan is to play the detective role long enough to figure out how to get his hands on some of the Waite fortune. But as the three begin working together at crime-solving, the surprises keep coming. Readers will be delighted with the characters, the puzzles, and the many twists and turns in Fake.
