Edward Stratemeyer (1862-1930) was American businessman and writer. He was one of founders of book-packaging technique based on using of work of multiple freelance authors and used it for his own enterprise, Stratemeyer Syndicate. This was a great contribution to forming of children’s fiction genre. Stratemeyer also wrote under his own name on under under pseudonyms Arthur M. Winfield and Capt. Ralph Bonehill.
